Designed and made in Kyoto (Japan).

Product description
Hand-made and hand-painted small plates, featuring signature pattern of red dots on gold-color paint. Designed and made by Kyoto-based potter and artist Naoto Suzuki, 4th generation potter of Kyo-yaki.
Use your table as a frame to these hand-made plates. A subtle Japanese feel, with a unique universal twist of fine artisanship.

The plates come in especially designed, Kyoto-made wooden boxes, called kiribako.

This items is part of a line by the potter, called Kindami Enshō, which includes a sake flask, a sake cup, and a square luncheon plate. Check the full set on the potter's collection page or contact us if you would like to have an estimate to purchase the full set.

Instructions for use
These plates are very likely to be used on a Japanese table as serving plates (called "torizara" or "kozara" - see our article about Japanese tableware).
On a Western table, they are the perfect choice to serve bread, biscuits, small portions of dessert, dipping sauce and more.
Please read further details in the Care & Notes section below.

This item is part of the potter's signature series, which includes plates and sake vessels (tokuri) and cups (guinomi). Please visit the manufacturer's collection page for more ideas.
